Over the last couple of weeks, I’vegotten reports that some people were having a hard time subscribing to my RSSfeed. This should all be fixed now, and there should be no problems with myfeed. Turns out my hosting provider was appending a custom header in all HTTPresponses, and this header included some whitespace. According to the HTTP/1.1RFC, this is illegal. As of Service Pack 1, the .NET framework now strictlyenforces the HTTP spec and complains loudly about HTTP protocol violations. Italked to my hosting provider, he removed the whitespace from the header, andall should be well again.
So, if you’re experiencing similarproblems with your feed my advice is to check with your hosting provider andmake sure there are no funky headers being included in your feed without yourknowledge.
