This is good news. It’s lamentable that we didn’t make this decision in time to actually get the anti-discrimination bill passed, but I’m sure the issue will come up again. And next time, Microsoft has committed to supporting it.

+1 to Steve and Microsoft.I think the important thing is that Ballmer is commiting to living a set of values. Discrimination is alive and well.I had a manager (white) who gave me (a Latino) the dirtiest look coz I had a university ring (Ivy League) on; he had no college education.It was the kind of look where it was readily apparent what was going thru his mind - some kind of grudge against me having a college degree.I won't soon forget that look.His initials were KKK.Go figure.I'm glad some companies fight against this type of bullshit.Those are the companies worth working hard for.
